One swipe of her mother's ruby red lipstick was all it took to begin Krystle's passion for makeup artistry.

As a little girl, watching her mother apply an array of colors and powders to her face each morning all from a bag of cosmetic treasures was a fascination. Her mother, a natural beauty, was transformed into glamorous! From then on, glamorous makeup and beauty was a makeup beacon for Krystle to strive for.

Since then, Krystle Katen has been a free-lance makeup artist for over 4 years. Her passion for makeup has inspired her work in the Fashion and the Performing Arts industries. She has had the privilege to work with professional makeup artists Rande Harris and Richard Battle at West Bay Opera. Krystle also makes herself available for Wedding, Editorial, and film-production venues throughout the country.
